There's a picture of the banquet room we will use. I'm ready to move on to the fun stuff like decorations and colors. I'm horrible at making decisions on things like this...but here's a little "inspiration board" that I made. I know, I am getting sucked into the dark hole of wedding planning, hopefully I will make it out alive!

I like the idea of gold-ish bridesmaid dresses with bright coral/rustic pink/ivory flowers. I hope that while I'm dress shopping in Dallas this weekend I'll make a decisions on the bridesmaid dresses too.
In other news, today was absolutely gorgeous outside. It makes me really sad that I don't have a window in my cubicle :(. I did go for a nice two mile run after work, though. I didn't want to go back inside, so I hung out on the patio, soaked in some sun, and got some stuff done on the computer for about an hour or so. There is no other word to describe it other than lovely. While I was chillin' on our patio (which is awesome, because it faces a pond with fountains and a walking trail) I saw tons of people walking their dogs. I really wish I had a dog, it would be particularly nice for these long stretches when Frank is gone. Buuuut, I'm hardly ever home, and I would always feel like I'm neglecting it. Probably a good idea to wait on the pets until kids are in the picture and I'm actually home for more than a few hours here and there. If/when I do get a pet, I think I'd get one of these...

When I was younger my best friend's family had a golden retriever named (the name is escaping me now, I HATE when this happens!). I just sent a text to my sister to see if she remembers. Funny how those little childhood details escape you when you get older. I don't particularly like it. Anyway, my point was, my next door neighbors had a golden retriever and she was the sweetest dog ever. Great family dogs. I remember she used to always come to our house during thunderstorms and hide out under our back porch. So cute.
